Born in a mountain cabin, raised on spreadsheets
TripNord started the way most Norwegian ideas do — on a cabin trip, somewhere above the treeline. Friends kept asking us to plan their Nordic holidays: which fjord, which month, which of the two ferries that both claim to be “the scenic one”. So we did what any reasonable group of guides and engineers would do: we turned twenty years of local knowledge into software, and kept the humans in charge of taste.
Today our AI planner, Lief, drafts routes in seconds — and our specialists in Oslo refine, price and book every single one by hand. Guests from more than forty countries have travelled north with us. Most come back. Several have moved here, which we consider the ultimate review.
